While not every toy needs to exist, I'm glad that this one finally does

The 1988 movie Big with Tom Hanks always has a special place in my heart, and you can probably guess that the scene where he questions the new transforming building toy is a favorite. So to my joy, new pictures are popping up from 3rd party toy designer Jizai Toys featuring a new incarnation of that poor poor robot who never had a chance to get to market.

It looks like Jizai Toys has been having lots of fun playing with their 3D printer and we are all the richer for it. I'm also taking particular joy that Google Translate has denoted his pages chronicling this project as 'Things that rub the sky 3', 'Things that rub the sky 2', and 'What wears the sky'. Also, that Google Translate has labeled his main page as 'Transformation stupid generation!', which could be very accurate and in which case I love it even more. Check it out if you want to see a passion project of quirky feats of engineering.
